Dynasty's Operations Approved Under New Ecuadorian Mining Law
April 20th, 2009
Vancouver, BC, April 20, 2009 - Dynasty Metals & Mining Inc. (TSX: DMM, “Dynasty” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce it has received official notification from the Ecuadorian Ministry of Mines and Petroleum that it is in compliance with the new Ecuadorian Mining Act. Such notice was given following a review, by the Ministry, of the Company’s operations. The Ministry requires the Company to update its Environmental Impact Studies, which is required in the normal course of business, and register with the new National Water Bureau. The Company expects to have completed these requirements in the near future.
Company President and CEO, Robert Washer commented: “We would like to thank the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum for their continued cooperation. The official notification allows Dynasty to step up its mine development, processing and exploration activities, which were previously curtailed because of the Mining Mandate passed in April of last year. Our primary focus continues to be the development of our Zaruma Gold Project, where we are now commissioning the plant and stockpiling ore grade material.”
