As discussed in detail on the Zaruma Property page, the Zaruma Gold Field comprises 44 concessions, located in the El Oro Province of south western Ecuador, in the vicinity of the towns of Zaruma and Portovelo. Forty-three of the concessions are 100% owned. Title to the remaining concession is subject to future option payments. The concessions cover 103 km2 at an altitude of 650m to 1600m and have excellent exploration potential*.

The Zaruma project is the most advanced of the Dynasty Metals & Mining properties, with production start up to be determined pending the implementation of the new mining act. Along with rounding out the Project Team, 2007 was focused on methodically executing the planned steps required to bring the Zaruma Gold Field into production. Work included surface drilling along the strike, and underground drilling from declines developed to mine the existing resource. The company is now well into construction of an 850 tonne a day plant at Zaruma. Construction of two tailings dams with an initial capacity of 120,000 m3 have been completed. Thirty hectares of land has been purchased on which to build the treatment plant and camp facilities. One of five planned declines has been commenced at Ana Michele and much of the heavy equipment for the plant including jaw crushers and ball mills, is now being assembled onsite.
